The Great Godfrey Maze is located in Godfrey, Illinois just off of Highway 67. You'll need to take Highway 67 into Godfrey and turn on Stamper Lane by the McDonald's. The maze is about ½ mile down on the left hand side of Stamper Lane in Glazebrook Park.

WHAT IS IT?
The Great Godfrey Maze consists of two maze trails cut into 7-acres of corn in Glazebrook Park. This year, the corn is cut into two trails to represent the renaissance! Visitors from all over can enjoy getting lost in the maze's twisting turns, dead-end and traps! The maze is open on the weekends in the fall for general admission. Tickets will be available for purchase until one half hour before closing.
GROUPS WELCOME
Scouts, youth groups and parties of 15 or more are welcome to visit the Great Godfrey Maze during normal operating hours at a reduced rate. Group rates are $3.00 per person and are only available to groups of 15 or more that make reservations ahead of time with the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department. The Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department can be reached at (618) 466-1483 Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

FALL CORN FESTIVAL
11AM - 10PM
The Fall Corn Fest is full of "corny" fun for the entire family! Come and enjoy a full day of fun at the park that includes music, the cow train, food and craft vendors and much more! It for all ages on Saturday, October 3 from 11 am - 10 pm at Glazebrook Park. And its FREE!
There will be an Antique Tractor and Engine Exhibit plus a kiddie pedal tractor pull, tractor games and the Parade of Power. The Godfrey Woman's Club will also host their Annual Corn Cook-Off. Enter your favorite, most original corn recipe for bragging rights. The Woman's Club will judge the entries...is your recipe "corntastic" enough to win?

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
October 9 - October 30
In mid-October, the ghosts of the renaissance will haunt one maze path. Prepare to be scared! Haunting hours will begin at dark and continue until 10 pm daily, EXCEPT Sunday, when the maze will close at 9 pm. All regular fees apply.
FIELD TRIPS
Educational field trips are available to be scheduled during the school week (Tuesday - Friday) for classroom tours. Reservations must be made ahead of time with the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department.
The cost for educational field trips is $3.00 per student with a minimum group of 50 students. Adult chaperones shall be supplied at a rate of 1 chaperone to every 10 students. Chaperones will not be charged the fee. If school groups would like lunch provided by the Great Godfrey Maze (hot dog, chips and soda), the cost is $5.00 per student.

THE GREAT GODFREY MAZE "AFTER DARK"
Every Friday and Saturday night through October 31, 2009, the Great Godfrey Maze will be open in the evening when it is dark. Each maze visitor will be required to have a flashlight to help them navigate the twists and turns of the maze. Flashlights will be available at the concession stand for purchase at $3.00 each.
Flashlights are not permitted in the Haunted Maze!
PRIVATE RENTALS, PARTIES, COMPANY PICNICS & TOURS
The Great Godfrey Maze is available for private rentals, company picnics, and private tours outside of the normal operating hours. The charge for private rentals is $100 for two hours plus $3.00 per person with a minimum of 100 people.
The Great Godfrey Maze can be privately rented in the evenings beginning September 8 through October 29. Please call the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department as soon as possible to secure your private rental.
